Day 212

A whole lotta nothin'

Gil has been sick (we thought he was teething) so we opted to fore go all plans and lay low today. We did laundry, cleaned, uploaded to Flickr, organized album art and rested well ourselves. (Yawn, I know.) We were diligent only with Gil's little medicine dropper of cherry flavored magic. 

Day 211

A moment at the stump

I have to go outside to get cell phone reception at all. Everytime I go out to our stump Apollo follows suit. It's our one-on-one time, I suppose!

Gil got (gently used) new shoes today. He won't be able to wear them for awhile, but I couldn't resist making these my micro-mini subjects tonight. The best part about getting these was that I got to catch up with my old friend Jill, who passed them kindly to us!

You don't have to look that hard...

to find relics of time gone by in little downtown areas. Some of it is sad, some nostalgic. All definitely build character and remind us of things.

Good-bye Jack

Jack, one of my my dearest friends and former boss is taking over his rose business full time. He is leaving the design community. (what?!) It was 10 years ago in August (wow!) that we started working day in and day out together. (eesh) This should be how you like it... all about you! Good bye, Jack! Good luck! (mwah!)
