Day 179
Simply, Gil's Room
This is my favorite room in the house. It is bright, pulled together, and fun. Gil loves it too. Every time we come home from a trip, I carry him up here and my reward is an easy smile from my favorite guy.
Thank you, Ladies! We didn't know if we were having a boy or girl, so we had to keep it neutral. I love black, so we picked all black furniture exept for the armiore that my mother painted. It was a fun project, but I was limited on how much "muscle" I could put into it at the time! :)
love seeing a peek into your home. and love that black frame on the vintage photo. oh, please give us a house tour one day! i can only imagine how your talented designer-self has made a home. xoxo.
You might be disapointed, Katrina! I was inspired by your home tour, but never did it for mine. Maybe soon...may-be. The vintage photo is my grandparents and my dad is in the carriage. It was truly the last touch in the nursery, the empty wall waited patiently, until it was filled with love.
thats a great looking room! love the bold colours
ReplyDeleteLovely room. I especially love the green color.
