Day 188

Good morning America how are you?
Don't you know me I'm your native son,
I'm the train they call The City of New Orleans,
I'll be gone five hundred miles when the day is done.
~Arlo Guthrie

  3. I like the post very much, the photos and the quote. It reminds me of the books by John Steinbeck.

  4. Amy - Yes, it's so sad. It's like the people don't know the hard life they know is coming to an end. It is such a great song though!

S/S - I am glad your day started well with a little Arlo on the mind. ...and yes, after the first picture, I can imagine that this post could have gone in a lot of unsavory directions. HA!

Thank you Kristin. Going into the industrial areas is like a step back in time. The people wear their work on their face, and work they do. I see hard workers and toil amongst the tire treads, pallets and steel.
